The countdown to the civil suit of battery charges

Since April 8, 2016 I haven't been able to ever look at my youngest daughter the same way I have for 27 years. It's amazing what changes the brain works when you have been in an extremely abusive relationship!

My daughter's, both of them, are the strongest women I know. They developed skills that no one knew they would ever need. They developed these skills in just a year. I know it seems odd to use the term "year". But when you are battling the elements of an abusive person, there's certainly a long list of knowledge to be addressed.

Today I'm going to talk about my youngest daughter. She's my everyday hero.

June 1, 2017 I had a very invasive hip surgery. June 2, 2017 was the criminal court date of my ex- husband. In mind and spirit I was there. Unfortunately I couldn't even feel my leg due to the nerve block they had given me so there was no way I could attend.

My oldest daughter went to the hearing just to give me peace of mind in knowing that the District Attorney was not going to waiver on the plea bargain that only I agreed to. My youngest daughter took a punch to the nose saving me from my ex. He tried choking me over the expedition (a martial asset). In another blog I will explain just how far someone will go to seek revenge from 19 years prior.

Anyways, my youngest daughter was the same age as I when my ex did this crap in the 1990's. The maturity levels are definitely different with a 25 year difference.
